To get started, all you need to do is use your mobile device Bible app (e.g. YouVersion), or … grab a pocket New Testament.

Start locating and highlighting the following Electronically highlighting or purchasing NT’s is investing into eternity.

NT’s can be purchased online (e.g. Amazon) or at a local Christian or popular book store for as low as less than a buck.

Use this as a practice for better understanding your own situation, in relation to God, then share it with others:

  • Carve out 15-20 minutes once a day or a few times per week to highlight pocket NT’s
  • The more New Testaments you highlight, the more you have to give away
  • The more you read what you are highlighting, the closer you stay to God and truth, the more you memorize
  • Highlight one NT as a “template,” then read on your own and use to highlight other NT’s
  • As you settle into highlighting as a practice, Journal your own, personal favorite Bible verses and tell others why they are special to you!

NOTE!  More topics and related verses planned. The following verses, however, are all you need to learn and share the simple message of the eternal truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Invest in eternity, invest in the eternal Kingdom of God!

The Problem:

Man has committed crimes against a holy God, by breaking His commandments. This began in the Garden of Eden and has infected mankind ever since.

God warned man to not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (” … or you shall surely die.”). Man disobeyed God and began to die, progressively, as a result.

Immediately man died, spiritually, when God withdrew His Spirit, who is Life. Man also dies now, physically.

Here’s the New Testament verse:

  • Romans 3:23 – “…for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”

The Penalty:
Someone has to pay the penalty for any crime, let alone breaking the law of a holy and just God. Here’s the New Testament verse:

  • Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death…”

There is a coming Judgment Day, you may have already heard about it. Here it is, directly from God’s Word, the Bible:

  • Hebrews 9:27 –  “And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,”

Who will pay the penalty for your crimes? Will it be you, personally, or would you like to take the pardon offered in Jesus Christ?

– If you opt for the pardon, you can be saved by grace through faith, in Jesus Christ.

– Faith is trusting Jesus with your life.  It is not mere mental assent, because the Bible tells us that even demons believe…and shudder:

  • James 2:19 (ESV) -“You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!”

– God also requires a u-turn in life, called, “repentance.”  This turn is mandatory in order to trust, follow and obey Jesus and His Word, the Bible.

  • Acts 17:30 (NLT) – “God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to Him.”

The Solution – An Offer of Salvation:

Romans 6:23 – “…but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Ephesians 2:8,9 – “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

Jesus knocks and supernaturally desires a relationship with you, as your Lord:
Revelation 3:20 – “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in…

{6} But as many as received him, to them gave he {s} power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

(6) The Son being shut out by the majority of his people, and acknowledged but by a few, regenerates those few by his own strength and power, and receives them into that honor which is common to all the children of God, that is, to be the sons of God.

(s) He condescended to give them this power to take them to be his children.
